Erik Smith is a graduate of South Texas College of Law – Houston and currently serves as a criminal defense attorney for Evans & Powell, PLLC. Erik was raised in Houston and graduated from The University of Houston with degrees in Political Science and Spanish.
Erik is recognized as a Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) – Practitioner, has completed the Drug Recognition Expert Course (DECP).
In addition, Erik is a member of The Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the DUI Defense Lawyers Association.
